My chacha was one of the biggest fans of Rafi ji, he used to start his day with his songs, and go to work with a group of people who used to sing his songs, and while coming back from work he used to do the same. All that I know about Rafi ji today is because of my chacha. He always told me, whenever you don't feel good just listen to one of Rafi ji's songs and everything will be better. Your performance today brought all those memories back. The way you sang, transported me to those evenings when I'd sit beside my chacha, playing the dholak as he sang with so much joy at our family functions. And for this, I want to thank you not just once but 1000 times, thank you for making this moment so profoundly special."
