Shabir Sriti new show: Things got spicier in Delhi as Shabir Ahluwalia and Ashi Singh visited the national capital to promote their new show Uff.. Yeh Love Hai Mushkil. Considering the show is set against the backdrop of Delhi, it was indeed the right city to promote their new romantic comedy.

At a time when Hindi GECs have been flooded with dramas revolving around kitchen politics and love triangles, Uff Yeh Love Hai Mushkil comes off as a breath of fresh air. The show has managed to strike a chord with the audience, generating decent ratings for the channel.

In an exclusive interview with Filmibeat, Shabir and Ashi spilled the beans on their new show, revealing what attracted them towards Uff Yeh Love Hai Mushkil.

Unlike the run of the mill daily soaps, Uff Yeh Love Hai Mushkil is based on the life of a lawyer, Yug Sinha and Kairi. Despite their different backgrounds and personalities, the duo will somehow fall in love. How they engage in a romantic relationship despite the tiffs and contrasting nature forms the crux of the story.

When asked what attracted them towards the show, Ashi and Shabir quipped, "The script. The wonderful and engaging script ensured that we signed the project as soon as we heard the narration."

Abhi and Pragya's jodi in Kumkum Bhagya created ripples on the small screen. Shabir and Sriti breathed life into their respective characters, winning the hearts of the audience. We asked Shabir about his favourite co-star, and he didn't take a second to share Sriti's name.

When further probed about working with Sriti again in a new project, the Kayamath star said, "I am currently focusing on Uff Yeh Love Hai Mushkil. After the show is over, and we are offered a substantial project together, I would love to take it up. It should be something different and exciting. I would love to work with Sriti again."
