Lately, there have been rumours swirling around in the telly town about Shalin Bhanot planning to get hitched for the second time. In a recent interview with Zoom, the actor confirmed the report and revealed that he is planning to get married in 2026.

Reacting to his wedding rumours, Shalin said, "My close ones are requesting me not to be single. There is going to be a phase in my life. Hence, I am in stress. My relatives and friends are manifesting that I should not be single. All my friends are married or in a relationship. I am the only one who is single. They want me to get married next year. (sic)"

"My parents are like gods for me. I will celebrate my special moment with them only, (sic)" he added.

Former couple Shalin Bhanot and Dalljiet Kaur had created headlines when they got separated in 2015 on an out-of-court settlement. In October 2016, Shalin and Dalljiet left their fans heartbroken when they announced their divorce. Their separation turned messy when Dalljiet accused her then-husband Shalin of domestic violence.

Talking to TOI, the Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon actress had once stated, "Trouble in our marriage started the next day of our wedding, when my mother-in-law stopped talking to me because she wasn't happy with the wedding gifts. Status-wise, we are very different and they always knew about it. My father has three daughters and couldn't afford the kind of wedding they expected."
