Shefali Jariwala Death Manmeet Singh Post: In a shocking news from the telly world, the renowned actress Shefali Jariwala has passed away. The diva, who became a household name with her song Kaanta Laga, has been a renowned face in the telly world and also won hearts with her stint in Bigg Boss 13. According to media reports, Shefali passed away on June 27 at the age of 42. While the official cause of her sudden demise is yet to be revealed, it is reported that she apparently died of a cardiac arrest. While several celebs were seen mourning her demise, Shefali's ex-husband's brother Manmeet Singh from Meet Brothers also took to social media to pay a tribute to the actress. Taking to his Instagram account, Manmeet shared a pic of Shefali and paid his condolences as he expressed his shock over the Kaanta Laga Girl's sudden demise. Manmeet wrote, "Rest in peace Shef. Only God knows why he called you back so soon. Will always cherish the amazing moments spent with you. May Waheguru be with you on your onward journey".

For the uninitiated, Shefali was earlier married to Harmeet Singh from Meet Brothers. They had tied the knot in 2004 but part ways in 2009

It was reported that Shefali had accused her ex-husband of domestic abuse. She had even filed an FIR against Harmeet Singh at Mumbai's Oshiwara police station, accusing him of physical and mental abuse. This isn't all. Shefali had also alleged that Harmeet had withdrawn Rs 12 lakh from their joint account without her permission. Talking about the same, Shefali had told Times Now back then, "It is very important to understand that you are not being appreciated. Not every kind of violence is physical. There is a lot of mental violence that also happens and you are very unhappy in your life. I think, one of the reasons why I could make the decision for myself, was because I was independent"
Meanwhile, it is reported Shefali Jariwala's last rites will be performed at a crematorium in Oshiwara today.
