According to media reports, the diva, who is popularly known as the Kaanta Laga Girl, breathed her last at the age of 42. The media reports suggested that she was rushed to hospital late night on June 27, 2025, following which she was declared brought dead by the hospital authorities. Ever since then, there have been speculations about Shefali Jariwala's death reason.

According to initial reports, Shefali Jariwala has died of a cardiac arrest. However, as the post-mortem report is yet to be out, the cops have asserted that the real cause of death for Shefali's demise is yet to be clear. "Mumbai Police received information about this at 1 am. Her body has been sent to Cooper Hospital for postmortem. The cause of death is not yet clear" the cops were quoted as saying by news agency ANI.

She had captioned the post as, "Thinking of you today mere dost @sidharth_shukla" along with a heart emoticon.
