Shefali Jariwala, renowned for her role in the music video "Kaanta Laga," has passed away at 41. Her sudden demise was due to a cardiac arrest, as reported initially. She was taken to Bellevue Multispeciality Hospital in Mumbai by her husband, Parag Tyagi, and three close friends. Sadly, doctors declared her dead upon arrival.

Parag Tyagi, Shefali's husband, was seen publicly as he stepped out after her passing. He appeared visibly distraught while walking their dog, Simba, in Mumbai. A video capturing this moment has gone viral, showing Parag trying to maintain a low profile amidst his evident grief.

Details of the Tragic Night

The exact cause of Shefali's death remains unknown as no official statement has been released by her family or representatives. Shatrughan, the watchman of Shefali's residential society, recounted that she was taken to the hospital around 10:30 PM on Friday. He expressed disbelief over her sudden death.

Shatrughan shared with NDTV that he saw Parag arriving at the society on a motorcycle around 9 PM that night. He mentioned opening the gate for him and later witnessing police and forensic teams arriving shortly after Shefali was taken to the hospital.

Police Investigation Underway

The police have been present at the scene since that night. According to Shatrughan, two mobile forensic unit vehicles were involved; one has left while another remains on-site. The investigation is ongoing as authorities seek more information about Shefali's untimely death.

Shefali gained fame in the early 2000s with "Kaanta Laga," earning her the nickname "Kaanta Laga Girl." She also appeared in Salman Khan's film "Mujhse Shaadi Karogi." Her career later expanded into reality TV with appearances on shows like Nach Baliye alongside Parag Tyagi and Bigg Boss 13.
