Soniya Bansal became a household name in the North after participating in superstar Salman Khan-hosted controversial reality show Bigg Boss 17. The actress has recently announced her retirement from acting, leaving everyone shocked.

Talking to ETimes, the former actress revealed, "We are so much into doing everything for others that we forget ourselves. I realized I don't even know what my true purpose is anymore. In this race to be perfect, to stay relevant, and to earn more, I lost myself. (sic)"

Revealing the real reason behind this shocking decision, Bansal added, "Money, fame, popularity I had it all. But what I didn't have was peace. And what will you do with the money if you're not at peace? You may have everything externally, but if you're empty inside, it's a very dark place to be. (sic)"
