As per reports, the television actor went missing on April 22, 2024, and upon his return, his close friend Bhakti Soni disclosed that he had made a drastic decision to stop eating solid food. Gurucharan came back home after a 26-day absence on May 17, 2024, and has been on a liquid diet ever since, refusing to consume anything solid. On January 7, 2025, he shared a video revealing the extent of his condition. Gurucharan was hospitalized earlier and was in critical condition, and according to recent updates, his health has worsened even further. Let's take a closer look at his current state.

Gurucharan Singh's close friend Bhakti Soni has given shocking updates about his health. She said in an interview with Timed Of India TV, "I haven't met him, but his mother used to keep me informed. His health has been very poor. At one point, he was hospital admission. Currently, he is admitted to a government hospital. (sic)"
Bhakti Soni further revealed that Gurucharan is allegedly in debt of about Rs. 1.2 Crore. Even though his father owns a property worth Rs. 55 Crore but there is an ongoing dispute between the owner and the tenants. If that issue is resolves, Gurucharan will probably be able to sell the property and clear his loans. Revealing about the financial and mental status of the actor, Soni said, "When he needs support the most, no one, including his family members, is helping him. It's only friends like me and one friend in Delhi who have been supporting him financially. (sic)" When asked about Gurucharan's mental status, Soni said that he is "definitely disturbed, but I cannot say for sure if he is depressed."
It's been 19 days since Gurucharan has stopped eating or drinking. 2 days ago, Gurucharan uploaded a video on his Instagram where he showed being hospitalized. Smiling in the video Gurucharan informed "halat bhot jyada kharab ho gayi hai (health condition has worsened)." He further thanked god. As per the reports, Gurucharan wanted to take sanyas.
