Munawar Faruqui In Mecca: Munawar Faruqui has been making headlines after he performed Umrah this Ramzan. On Friday, the Bigg Boss 17 winner shared a truckload of pictures of him performing Umrah as he visited the holy Mecca. Things got confusing when he shared a picture of himself with his wife Mehzabeen Coatwala, whom netizens confused as his girlfriend. However, he was quickly rectified by his other fans. Sharing the pictures, Munawar has also wished his fans for holy Ramzan month, to which his fans poured their heartfelt wishes for the actor.

Munawar Faruqui Performs Umrah With Wife In Mecca

Munawar Faruqui shared a series of pictures of himself wearing the white traditional ihram while posing inside the holy mosque. In the next slide, Munawar was seen holding his wife as he posed alongside her. His wife Mehzabeen coatwala could be seen smiling and wearing black traditional burkha. Munawar shared a few other pictures of himself wearing ihram holding holy Quran. Furthermore, he shared pictures inside the mosque, delicious food, which apparently from their iftar party. He also shared a bird's eye view of the inside of the mosque. Sharing the post, he wrote, "khubsurat jagah ✨ makkah 🕋 Allah sabko yanha bulaye, Aur dua aap sabke liye ki hai maine. Muje bhi apni dua me yaad rakhna."

After the picture went viral, one fan confused his wife to be his girlfriend, and wrote, "Did bro go for umrah with his girlfriend ☝🏻😭" However, he got quickly rectified his other fans, "With his wife❤️" Another wrote, "Wife hai bro🙌"

Many other fans commented and wished the couple, "Mashallah Allah kare aapka aur Mehz ka umrah kubool ho jaye ameen 🤲❤️" another wrote, "Masha Allah Bhai... Dua Mein Yaad Rakhana... 🤲🤲🤍🤍" One user wrote, "Only place on earth where no one is celebrity." Another fan wrote, "duniya ki sbse khubsurat jagah 🕋💯"

The former Bigg Boss winner surprised his fans after he tied knot with Mehzabeen without any hint. Recently he discussed the same in a podcast with Sana Khan and Mufti Anas, where he spoke against dowry, and spoke in support of minimalist wedding. He said, "Dahej mat dijiye, don't overspend on weddings. I come across where people say that they need money for their child's wedding. I got married but kept it intimate. Mujhe ab dar lagta hai, agar kisi ki nazar lag gaye toh. Hum dono ko kisika nazar lag gaye toh. Mereko nazar se jitna darr lagta hain, utna maut se nahi hain. Aab aisa hi ho gaya hain."

Further talking about his wife, he spilled, "This time, the atmosphere at home is different. I am very happy. Last Ramadan, I remember being exhausted, praying that I just want to settle down. I was tired of feeling lost. I wanted stability, and destiny gave me exactly what I needed. I am so blessed. I never imagined I would find a partner like this. My family is complete-she is like the perfect puzzle piece that was missing."

Mehzabeen and Munawar fell in love and tied the knot within a few days. They got married on May 26, 2024 leaving everyone surprised. For the unversed, Munawar was earlier married to Jasmine and he has a seven-year-old son, named Mikael. He also made headlines for dating Nazila Sitaishi and Ayesha Khan after the relationships became controversial. Meanwhile, this is also Mehzabeen's second marriage and she is a mother to an 11-year-old daughter from her previous marriage.
