World Laughter Day: Actors Express Their Gratitude For Being Able To Make Others Laugh!

World Laughter Day is a heartfelt reminder of how joy and humour can uplift our spirits and strengthen human connections. On this occasion, &TV artists Tejaswini Singh (Bheema), Rohitashv Gour (Manmohan Tiwari, Bhabiji Ghar Par Hai), and Geetanjali Mishra (Rajesh, Happu Ki Ultan Paltan) express their gratitude for the beautiful gift of making others laugh. For them, spreading joy is not just a part of the job, it is one of the purest forms of art. Tejaswini Singh, who plays the title role in Bheema, shares, "The best thing I like to do is laugh and make others laugh. In our show, most scenes are serious, but whenever the camera cuts and we have time between takes, I keep doing something or the other to make everyone laugh. I even have a list of jokes that I keep repeating. Now, it has become a routine when I start a joke, they already know what is coming next! Sometimes they even get a little irritated, but I still enjoy sharing them. I remember learning in school that laughter is the best medicine, and I honestly believe we should all take a dose every day without fail."
Rohitasv Gour, aka Manmohan Tiwari from Bhabiji Ghar Par Hai, says, "Manmohan Tiwari is a character who constantly finds himself in quirky, laugh-out-loud situations, whether he is trying to impress Anitai or getting caught in one of Vibhuti's crazy plans. Through him, I have come to truly appreciate the art of comic timing and the beauty of light-hearted storytelling. For me, Comedy is not just about making faces or saying punchlines, it's about reflecting life's absurdities in a way that people connect with and laugh at. On World Laughter Day, I genuinely feel proud that as Tiwari ji, I get to be part of a show that brings daily doses of joy into people's homes. It's a reminder that laughter is not just entertainment, it's therapy." Geetanjali Mishra, aka Rajesh from Happu Ki Ultan Paltan, shares, "My character Rajesh is a spirited, witty, and sharp. She has a comeback for every situation and a charm that lights up every scene. Playing her has taught me how humour can be both smart and heartwarming. Our show thrives on chaos, whether it's managing nine kids, Happu's antics, or Katori Amma's quirks, and in the middle of all that madness, it's laughter that binds us. Off-screen, too, the energy is just as vibrant. We joke, we prank, and we find joy in the smallest moments. As Rajesh and Geetanjali, I believe laughter is life's best companion. It makes us resilient, connects us with others, and reminds us not to take everything so seriously."
