Sandeep Rajora, who portrays Madhav Poddar in Rajan Shahi's popular show Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, opens up about his experience working on the long-running Star Plus series and how television remains an integral part of Indian entertainment.

For Sandeep, every day on set brings a wave of excitement and passion. "The best feeling for an actor is getting up early in the morning and going for a shoot. Enacting good scenes and meeting the cast and crew is a fun and satisfying feeling," he shares, expressing his love for the craft.

The positive atmosphere on set plays a crucial role in enhancing his performance. "Surely, we have a lot of positive vibers on our set, and it really makes work easy," he notes, emphasizing the importance of a harmonious environment.

He also highlights the significance of building rapport with co-stars to enhance on-screen chemistry. "For me personally, it's quite important as it keeps things flowing effortlessly and that's the best thing for a great performance," Sandeep explains.

Working under the banner of Rajan Shahi's Director's Kut Production has been a rewarding experience for the actor. "Clear communication and utmost priority to work is a good thing for TV actors because, in TV, the work is too much, and there's less time. Clear communication ensures good performances," he says, appreciating the well-structured approach of the production house.

Despite the booming digital content landscape, Sandeep firmly believes that television continues to hold a special place in the hearts of Indian viewers. "Oh yes, I believe that TV is the 'daal chawal' with pickle, of the Indian audiences. After eating out, you come back to the staple home food, which is the most satisfying in the long run," he explains with a charming analogy.

He acknowledges how the nature of Indian television content has evolved. "TV shows are more slice-of-life, and especially Yeh Rishta, where plots are real and palatable," he adds, appreciating the show's ability to adapt to changing audience preferences.

Reflecting on his personal growth throughout his journey, Sandeep admits, "I have become a more patient person, I feel."
