As the world celebrates World Laughter Day, popular TV actor Romiit Raaj shares his thoughts on why laughter holds a special place in his heart-both on and off the screen. Known for his versatility and charisma, Romiit believes laughter isn't just an emotion-it's a way of life.

"Laughter is my most favourite expression as an actor. A comedy scene is so much fun to do in front of the camera. Everyone on set is enjoying, and there are such pleasant, fun vibes all around," he shares with a smile.

Romiit emphasises the importance of laughter in daily life. "Laughter lifts your mood, changes the energy around you, and of course, people love to be around good, cheerful company," he says. However, he also acknowledges that modern life often makes us forget the simple joy of smiling.

"Daily stress definitely makes you forget how to smile. You'll face tough situations every day, but the art of living life is to overcome all struggles with a smile. Laugh over your problems-this too shall pass," Romiit reflects. "Whatever is happening in life, good or bad, is ultimately shaping you into a better person."

Citing his comedic inspirations, he adds, "My biggest inspiration in comedy has always been Charlie Chaplin and Mehmood. Among Bollywood comedians, Johnny Lever is my favourite. He's the only one who has been entertaining us for so many years."

When asked whether he enjoys doing comedy, Romiit says with certainty, "Of course! Every actor loves to do comedy. Comedy is actually tougher than serious roles. An actor becomes complete when they can perform all kinds of scenes and show their full range."

As for bringing more laughter into everyday life, Romiit offers a simple yet powerful tip: "Make more friends, spend time with your loved ones. Don't feel shy-go out there and explore. We have only one life, live it to the fullest."

On a parting note, he adds, "Today, intelligent and family comedy films do well because people connect with good stories and enjoy wholesome humor."
