Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai Star Samridhii Shukla: We Forget How Capable We Are Without Technology

Actress Samridhii Shukla who is currently seen in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai opens up about the growing influence of artificial intelligence and how she feels society must handle this shift with awareness and balance. Reflecting on how AI has become a major part of everyday life, she says, "We're definitely depending on AI more than we used to. It's helpful, but sometimes it feels like we forget how capable we are without it." She adds that while technology makes life easier, it shouldn't replace the small habits that keep our minds active.
Sharing her thoughts on the risks of relying too heavily on AI, Samridhii explains, "The biggest concern for me is that people may slowly stop trusting their own instincts. A machine can't understand our emotions or the real situation we're going through." She believes that while AI can guide, it cannot truly understand the human side of decision-making. "If we follow it blindly, we might end up choosing something that doesn't even match our life," she says.
Discussing the fear of AI taking over jobs, she takes a practical, steady view. "The threat is real in some areas, but it's not the whole story," she says. She points out that while certain roles may reduce, new opportunities will rise as technology grows. "Every big change in history has created new work. We just have to stay open and keep learning," she adds. When it comes to creativity and emotional intelligence, Samridhii is very clear. "AI cannot replace human creativity or emotions. It can copy patterns, but it cannot feel. Creativity comes from our own life-our experiences, our imagination," she says.
Speaking about whether current ethical guidelines are enough, she notes, "Not yet. Technology is growing faster than the rules. We need stronger protections so that AI supports jobs rather than removes them."
For Samridhii, the ideal balance is simple and human. "Let AI help us, not replace us. Use it for speed and efficiency, but keep the roles that need heart and understanding with people," she says with conviction.
