Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai Today Episode: In tonight's (December 7) episode of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, the atmosphere at the Poddar house turns tense and emotional when Abhira (Samridhii Shukla) arrives late at night to meet Kiara, who is overwhelmed and shaken after her pregnancy news becomes known.

While comforting Kiara, Abhira gently advises her to rest and assures her that she can speak to Abhir tomorrow when she feels calmer. As she prepares to leave, the situation escalates when Armaan (Rohit Purohit) confronts her, leading to a heated argument between the two.

Armaan, still furious after physically assaulting Abhir earlier, justifies his actions by claiming he was protecting Kiara. However, Abhira strongly reprimands him, reminding him that violence cannot solve problems. She states firmly that both Kiara and Abhir are adults, and whatever occurred between them happened willingly. "Protectiveness doesn't mean punishment," she tells Armaan before leaving to visit Abhir at the hospital.

Inside the Poddar home, the family gathers to discuss the crisis. Emotions run high as most members initially support the idea of abortion, considering it the safest escape from scandal and further complications. But Krish surprises everyone by speaking up, saying that although he is upset with Kiara, the unborn child is innocent. He calls the baby "God's greatest blessing" and urges the family not to react impulsively.

The following morning, Abhir arrives at the Poddar residence, hoping to speak with Kiara. His presence immediately sparks Armaan's anger again, and just as he is about to intervene, Abhira steps forward and stops him. She reminds him sternly that Kiara and Abhir deserve the chance to speak privately because it is their relationship, their future, and ultimately their decision.

Before she realises it, the entire Poddar family witnesses the emotional exchange from a distance. Unable to face their reactions, Kiara runs inside.

As Abhir tries to follow her, Armaan blocks him and declares that Kiara's refusal is final. When Armaan once again loses control and attempts to lash out physically, Abhira steps between them, warning him that his anger will only make matters worse.

Later, as the family regroups, tensions flare again. Kaveri lashes out at Abhira, accusing her of knowing about Kiara and Abhir's relationship beforehand and hiding the truth. Before the accusations escalate further, Kiara steps in to defend Abhira, clarifying that no one knew anything and blaming her is unfair.

While the elders push Kiara toward marriage as the only solution, Abhira once again becomes the voice of reason. She urges everyone to stop forcing decisions and allow Kiara the time she needs to think clearly.
