Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai Today Episode: The mehendi ceremony begins on a cheerful note, but emotions soon take center stage in tonight's (July 14) episode of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai. Amidst the celebration, Anshuman quietly walks up to Abhira (Samridhii Shukla). With a lot on his mind, he gently takes her hand and starts applying mehendi on her himself.

As he does, he asks her the big question-does she still want to go through with this marriage? Abhira doesn't respond. She's clearly conflicted, and while she says nothing, Anshuman continues applying the mehendi, perhaps hoping her silence means she needs more time.

Meanwhile, Krish brings some energy into the room by starting a dance. He gets everyone involved and even pulls Armaan (Rohit Purohit) and Abhira into the fun. For a brief moment, it feels like things are normal, but the storm is still brewing underneath.
Later, a sweet moment unfolds as little Maira bonds with Abhir. She tells Abhira that she's decided to call Abhir "Mamu," which surprises and touches everyone.

But as Abhir steps away for a bit, Kaira notices a young girl nearby whom an older lady lovingly calls "Pookie." That name triggers something in Kaira, and she starts to wonder-could this be Abhira's daughter? Driven by suspicion, she follows the girl and the woman.

Back at the venue, panic breaks out when Abhir realizes Maira has gone missing. He rushes to tell Armaan and Abhira, who immediately leave to look for her without informing the family. As they search, Abhira is taken back in time-seven years ago-when she lost someone she couldn't find.

That pain still haunts her. She turns to Armaan and promises she won't fail this time. Armaan is deeply moved by her words and her determination.

Thankfully, Maira soon returns safely to the Goenka house and opens up to Geetanjali about why she left. Geetanjali quickly calls Armaan to let him know. He tells her they're on their way, but they're stuck because the roads are blocked due to a nearby factory fire.

Back home, Tanya senses the tension and starts stirring trouble. She accuses Armaan and Abhira of running away intentionally and tells Anshuman to rethink his decision to marry Abhira.

Later, Armaan finally tries to speak to Abhira and tell her the truth-perhaps something he should have said long ago. But Abhira stops him. She tells him she doesn't want to hear anything anymore. She's tired-tired of waiting, tired of hurting, tired of holding on. She's made up her mind. She's moving on, even if it hurts.
