Yogesh Tripathi To Shubhangi Atre: &TV Actors Recall the Life-Altering Moment They Became Parents!

There are moments in life that leave an indelible mark on the heart, and for many, becoming a parent tops that list. It is a moment of transformation, filled with emotion, vulnerability, and an overwhelming sense of love and purpose. This National Parents Day, &TV actors Yogesh Tripathi (Daroga Happu Singh, Happu Ki Ultan Paltan) and Shubhangi Atre (Angoori Bhabi, Bhabiji Ghar Par Hai) open up about those very first moments of parenthood, when time seemed to stand still, and their worlds changed forever. Yogesh Tripathi, aka Daroga Happu Singh from Happu Ki Ultan Paltan, shares, "The day my son Dakshesh was born, something inside me shifted. Tears streamed down my face the moment I held him in my arms. There he was, this tiny, delicate life looking up at me with eyes barely open. That was the first time my family saw me cry real, uninhibited tears. My son changed me in ways I did not expect. And when my daughter came into our lives, it was like reliving that miracle all over again. She has me wrapped around her little finger, quite literally. Parenthood humbled me. It brought me closer to my emotions, my responsibilities, and to the man I want to be for them."
Shubhangi Atre, aka Angoori Bhabi from Bhabiji Ghar Par Hai, shares, "I will never forget the first time I saw my daughter Aashi. They placed her in my arms, and I just froze. I was not ready for the overwhelming wave of emotion that hit me. I held her tightly and could not stop crying. It was an overwhelming kind of love, where your heart is both bursting and trembling at once. For the first time in my life, I experienced what it meant to truly love someone more than yourself. My world narrowed down to her in that moment, her soft breath, her tiny fingers. I still remember bringing her home to Pune for the first time, where our family was waiting to welcome us with balloons and flowers. Aashi is my guiding light, my strength. She made me more grounded, more human, and so much more patient."
