Aanchal Khurana Reveals Her Relationship Status: I'm Single Right Now. Even If I Were In Relationship...

Aanchal Khurana, who has been a part of shows like Tu Juliet Jatt Di, Sapne Suhane Ladakpan Ke, and Bade Achhe Lagte Hain 2, among others, is currently single, and she is at complete peace with where she stands.

She said, "I'm single right now, and I'm enjoying my life. Even if I were in a relationship, I would've enjoyed my life the same. I practise what I preach. I've seen people having one-night stands, hookups and I don't know what else, but I don't fall for all that; it has never existed in my universe, maybe because I'm old-school."

"My personality doesn't really show it, but when it comes to marriage or love, I am old-school; I believe in loyalty and commitment. I think this is one of the reasons why I'm still single and not married. Because I find loyalty very rare, people try to rush physically, but I stay out of it," she added.

And she had real, meaningful relationships in the past. Talking about it, she said, "I've had proper relationships that even my mum and dad knew about. Never had casuals, or anything. The minimum timeline of a relationship that I've had is 1.5 years. Yes, people don't know about those relationships because the people I've dated were outsiders and non-actors."

And she wants a partner who is ready for commitment but maintains a balance with space and individuality. She said, "I love my independence, and I want to be with a partner who loves their independence and space equally. Our individualities should not be changed. Every relationship requires compromise and adjustment. But our personalities should be intact. It'll be even better if we're best friends too. We will gossip, travel, and do everything together."

When asked about marriage, she said, "According to the situation that's been going on, in this generation, I think I've already passed the age of first marriage." Lots of people my age have gone through at least one divorce, and thankfully I haven't experienced that and never want to. I don't even want the word 'divorce' in my life. I joke about it with my parents that I've crossed the age of first divorce; now nobody can put the divorcee tag on me. When I get married, it'll be the endgame. Even if it takes a lot of energy or mental stress to make it work, I'm okay with it because I'm someone who won't give up."

"I'm sure everyone tries to make their marriage work, but nowadays people often give up easily because it's getting too stressful or emotionally draining. If this is the case, I think people should refrain from getting into a relationship or even getting married. Stay single if you can't stay loyal. I believe in marriage very strongly; hence, I know how much work it requires. It's really everyday work, as it should be. If you can't deal with it, then don't get married at all. It's not for the weak. If you want to give up so easily, then stop scaring people about marriage," Aanchal ended.
