Aarti said acting was not always her fixed ambition. Like many growing children, she considered different careers before finding clarity. Over time, performance stayed with her more than any other option. That steady interest helped her choose acting with purpose.

Sharing her journey, Aarti says, "It wasn't like I always wanted to become an actor. I think very few people know exactly what they want to be from childhood. As we grow up, we often dream of becoming different things, sometimes a doctor, sometimes an engineer. I had those thoughts too. But over time, you realize that after exploring many options, there is one thing that truly stays with you, and that becomes your real goal. The same happened with me. In the beginning, I thought about doing many different things, but I was always very interested in Maharashtrian folk art."

Before entering television, Aarti found joy in live cultural performance. Maharashtrian folk forms gave her confidence and public recognition. She enjoyed folk songs, Powada, and small street plays known as path natya. These early responses helped her see performance as a serious path.

She futher added, "I loved performing folk songs, Powada, and small street plays (path natya). Whenever I performed, I received appreciation and recognition. That's when I realized that this was something I could truly pursue. Even today, I am deeply in love with the performing arts, and that is why I continue to follow this path."

In Thodi Si Umeed Thoda Sa Aasman, Vaidehi’s journey carries emotional weight and social relevance. The character’s strength comes from her refusal to give up. Her dreams are challenged by expectations at home and society. Yet her resolve remains central to the narrative.

The Sun Neo show presents Vaidehi as a young woman searching for dignity and choice. Her life reflects many everyday struggles faced by women from simple backgrounds. Through her role, Aarti steps into a story about hope, effort, and inner strength.
