Anupamaa Star Rupali Ganguly Wishes Rajan Shahi's Daughter Ishika Shahi On Her Birthday: She Is God's child
Anupama actor Rupali Ganguly does not use her words lightly. When she calls Ishika Shahi, who has created web shows like Jabb Zodiacs Met and Heer Sharma Gayi for Director's Kut Production's official YouTube channel, her soul child, she means it in the fullest sense. She believes their connection goes beyond affection and admiration into something that feels almost destined.

She said, "If there was a concept of soulmates, you would have a concept of soul friends; she would be my soul child. When I started my work in the animal field, taking care of stray babies, feeling the empathy that I felt for the fur babies, I used to wonder, who after us? Will the next generation be like this, with so much dedication, so much empathy, so much compassion? The way the world is going, it's become a horrible place for the innocent voiceless."
"There's mass culling; there are stupid judgments being passed. In that world, children like Ishika come across as angels. They are the hope for the future. They are the hope for empathy and compassion in this world," she added.
What makes the bond even more special is how it has evolved over time. She said, "There was a time when Ishika used to call me up and say, 'Rupali aunty, where can I get this vet?' Rupali aunty, there's this puppy; I don't know what to do with it. Please help me.' And today, I feel so, so, so proud that I call up Ishika and ask her, 'Ishika, do you know a vet? Ishika, what can I do with this puppy? What do I do with this? 'It is such a beautiful transition."
But the animal compassion is only one part of what Rupali sees when she looks at Ishika. She said, "When children today want to go party on their birthdays and want to splurge, when you have a father like Rajan Shahi who can provide her with everything, this girl has the gumption and the guts to go out there and forge her own path. She would rather donate to the needy than go and spend things on herself."
"Kids of her age, I've seen them just go out, 'Oh, I want this, I want that, this brand, that brand. I don't think this girl is even interested in all these material things anymore. Her fabric is kindness. Her fabric is compassion. And she is outspoken. She speaks her mind and she dares to make her own path," she added.
The dream she carries for Ishika is one that says everything about how seriously she takes her potential. She said, "I genuinely want to see her grow so much as an individual in this world that Rajan Ji is known as her father. It should be, 'Oh, he is Ishika Shahi's father. 'That is my dream for her. She is doing things on her own, she is coming up with brilliant ideas, and she is taking her father's company to other heights. DKP's future is Ishika. The compassion's future is Ishika."
The connection between them is not just emotional but spiritual. She said, "She is my spiritual connection, she is my soul child, she is somebody I love from the bottom of my heart. If I go to a temple today, I pray for her, and the connection that I have with her will always remain. Ishika will remain my daughter from another mother, and she is very, very precious."
On Ishika's birthday, she gathered everything she feels into words that carry the full weight of that love. She said, "Wishing her a very happy birthday, wishing her a long, long life, wishing her health always, and wishing her everything that she's wished for and much, much more."
"She's God's child, and Rajan ji is blessed to have such a daughter. I can go on speaking about her non-stop. Every time I meet my friends and family, I keep talking about her, 'See, this is how you should be. 'I love you, Ishika, and I wish you all the very best, beta," Rupali ended.
