Speaking about what excites him the most about coming to work every day, Sikandar says, "I genuinely look forward to performing new scenes every day because every episode brings fresh emotional challenges for my character. I am invested not only in Manoj's journey but also in the overall storyline of the show. Apart from that, the energy on set and the bond I share with the team make the experience very special."

The actor also cherishes the moments he spends with his colleagues when the cameras stop rolling. "When I'm not shooting, I enjoy spending time with my co-actors and crew members. Lunch breaks are always the most fun part of the day. We share conversations, rehearse scenes, listen to music, and have plenty of laughs together," he shares.

Talking about his growth since joining the show, Sikandar credits the role for pushing him beyond his comfort zone. "This show has helped me grow immensely as an actor. Manoj is very different from my real personality and also unlike any character I have played before. I've become more emotionally expressive, disciplined, and confident in my craft. Working alongside experienced actors and performing challenging scenes has been a great learning experience."

One of the most demanding phases for him was Manoj's emotional breakdown after struggling with alcoholism. "The scenes where Manoj's lies were exposed to his wife and son were emotionally taxing. He was battling his failures and couldn't face his family. Those sequences were challenging, but creatively they were extremely satisfying to perform," he recalls.

Sikandar reveals that his family has been one of his biggest pillars of support. "My family is incredibly supportive and proud. My wife, who is also an actress, watches the show closely and has become a loyal viewer. Their encouragement means a lot to me."

When asked whether audience appreciation or awards matter more, the actor doesn't hesitate. "Audience love means the most because their connection with my character makes this journey worthwhile. Awards are an honour, but genuine appreciation from viewers is priceless. That's the real reward."

Being part of one of Indian television's most popular shows has also brought him widespread recognition. However, Sikandar remains grounded. "It feels wonderful when people recognise and appreciate your work. But with popularity comes responsibility. I feel grateful that audiences are connecting with the character and the show so strongly. I never take that love for granted. It's a remarkable achievement for a show to sustain its popularity and stay relevant for so many years despite intense competition," he concludes.
