The ad revenue suffered a massive blow as the TRPs of the new launches never touched the 1-TVR mark, resulting in major losses for the network. After much consideration, the higher executives at the network decided to shut the channel. BGPH will also go off air along with &TV after a successful run for 11 years and 1 month."

According to Gossip TV and The Times Of India, the makers have finalised the date when the show will air its finale episode. Bhabi Ji Ghar Par Hain its blockbuster journey on the small screen after a successful stint of 11 years.

The show will telecast its last episode on April 16, bringing an end to the glorious run on &TV.

Is Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain shifting to OTT? The industry source confirmed, "No, BGPH is not being shifted to ZEE5 as the channel and the production house have decided to bring a logical end to the show. The show will not be shifted to OTT. So viewers should not pay heed to such rumours."

Last year, Shilpa Shinde made a return to Bhabi Ji Ghar Par Hai, replacing Shubhangi Atre. She is the OG Angoori Bhabhi and the makers brought her back to take over the charge from Atre.
