According to her, it is a mix of reflection, gratitude and quiet resistance. "We celebrate, yes, but we also pause and think about the journey of women who made life easier for us," she adds. For Shivangi, being a woman means carrying strength and sensitivity together. "That balance is our real power," she shares.

Speaking about empowerment, she says the meaning has changed a lot over time. "Earlier, empowerment was seen as being loud or rebellious. Now it is about being secure in who you are," she explains. She adds that in today's world, empowerment means having the freedom to choose your dreams and not feeling guilty about them. "It is about confidence in both personal and professional life," she says.

Recalling a personal experience, Shivangi shares that she once faced subtle gender bias while negotiating her work terms. "I was made to feel that I should just be grateful for the opportunity," she says. Instead of staying silent, she respectfully voiced her expectations. "That moment taught me that self respect is very important. If you do not value yourself, no one else will," she adds.

Talking about leadership, Shivangi says women today are redefining it with empathy and emotional intelligence. "Leadership is not only about authority. It is about understanding people and creating balance," she says. She believes women are naturally strong multitaskers who lead with both heart and mind.

On financial independence, she strongly says, "It changes everything." She adds that earning your own money builds confidence and gives decision making power. However, she points out that mindset barriers and unequal pay still exist.

"The day equality feels normal and not special," Shivangi concludes, "that is when Women's Day will truly become a celebration of achievement."
