HERE'S WHAT ADRIJA ROY HAS TO SAY ABOUT THE ONGOING PROTEST

"I think young people should never be made to feel that their voice doesn't matter. If students genuinely believe something is unfair, they have every right to question it through peaceful and democratic means. We always encourage the younger generation to become responsible citizens, and responsibility also means speaking up when something feels wrong. Staying silent out of fear doesn't help anyone," she says.

Speaking about the role of public figures, Adrija believes influence should be used with responsibility rather than for momentary attention.

"I don't think celebrities should comment on every issue just because it's trending. If you're going to speak, educate yourself first. An uninformed opinion from a famous person can create more confusion than awareness. But when an issue directly impacts the country's youth and their future, remaining completely indifferent isn't the answer either. Influence is a privilege, and it should be used thoughtfully," she adds.

ADRIJA ROY ON HOW CELEBRITIES CAN SUPPORT STUDENTS IN ONGOING PROTEST

The actress also feels that while celebrity support can amplify conversations, the spotlight should never shift away from the people directly affected.

"Celebrity voices can bring wider attention, but they shouldn't become the story. The real focus should always remain on the students and the issue itself. If public figures can use their platform to amplify the voices of those who are actually fighting the battle, then that support can truly make a difference," she says.

Talking about restoring faith in the examination system, Adrija stresses that transparency and accountability are essential.

"Trust cannot be demanded; it has to be earned. Students dedicate years of hard work, sacrifice their time, and carry immense pressure while preparing for these exams. If there are allegations of irregularities, they deserve to be investigated fairly and transparently. People don't expect perfection-they expect honesty, accountability, and timely action. When students believe the system is fair, confidence naturally returns," she concludes.
