Farman Haider Filmibeat Exclusive: Farman Haider has been receiving appreciation for his performance as Shivaay in the popular Zee TV show Jagadhatri. Over the years, the actor has built a steady journey in television with his sincere performances and strong screen presence. As Eid al-Adha approaches, Farman spoke about what the festival means to him today, how life has changed after becoming an actor, and the traditions he still holds close to his heart despite his hectic shooting schedule.

JAGADHATRI STAR FARMAN HAIDER ON EID AL-ADHA AND ITS TRUE SPIRIT
In an exclusive chat with Filmibeat Assistant Editor Aakash Kumar, Farman Haider opened up about the deeper meaning of Eid al-Adha in his life now and shared that the festival has become much more personal to him after entering the entertainment industry. According to him, the values of sacrifice and gratitude strongly connect with the life of an actor.
"Eid al-Adha, for me now, goes much deeper than just celebration. As an actor, I connect with the idea of sacrifice on a very personal level. This profession demands a lot - your time, comfort, personal moments - and somewhere that reflects the true spirit of Eid," he said.
The actor further explained that the festival reminds him to stay humble and thankful for every opportunity that comes his way. "It reminds me to stay grounded, to be grateful for every opportunity, and to never forget the people and values that shaped me," Farman added.
When asked about how different Eid celebrations are today compared to the days before fame and television recognition, the actor shared, "Honestly, the essence of Eid hasn't changed, but the pace has. Earlier, it was all about being fully present with family - no distractions, just pure joy. Now, with shoots and commitments, sometimes Eid is spent on set."
Despite the demanding schedules, Farman says he still makes sure to celebrate the festival with warmth and gratitude. "But I make sure that even if it's for a short time, I celebrate it with the same warmth. In fact, now I feel even more grateful because I know the value of those simple moments," he said.
FARMAN HAIDER REVEALS ONE EID FAMILY TRADITION THAT HE NEVER MISSES
The actor also revealed the one family tradition he never likes to miss and revealed, "One tradition I never miss is starting Eid with my family - offering prayers together and sharing that first meal. No matter how busy I am, I always try to be there for that. It keeps me connected to my roots, and gives me a sense of peace before I step back into the chaos of work."
This year's Eid, however, will be especially emotional for the actor because several members of his family, including his mother, are currently performing Hajj.
"This year is very special for me because my mother and many of my family members are performing Hajj. So Eid will be a little different - we'll be celebrating it over video calls," he revealed.
While he admitted that he will miss being physically present with them, Farman also said the moment fills him with peace and gratitude.
"Of course, I'll miss being physically with them, but at the same time, there's a deep sense of peace and gratitude knowing they're on such a sacred journey. In a way, it makes this Eid even more special," the actor concluded.
