Abhishek Sharrma Exclusive: Actor Abhishek Sharrma is consistently winning appreciation for his performance as Devansh in Vasudha. He has managed to make a name for himself with his strong screen presence. While he is now enjoying recognition for his work, Abhishek recently looked back at the early days of his journey and opened up about the first acting assignment that came his way after moving to Mumbai.

ABHISHEK SHARRMA OPENS UP ABOUT HIS FIRST EVER ACTING ASSIGNMENT

Speaking about his first professional break in an exclusive chat with Filmibeat Assistant Editor Aakash Kumar, Abhishek shared that the memory remains fresh even today because every actor remembers the opportunity that gave them their start. "Yes, I still remember it very clearly because the first opportunity is something every actor carries with them forever," he said.

The actor revealed that his debut assignment was not the result of a carefully planned move. Instead, it came after months of hard work, auditions, and patience. Before settling in Mumbai, Abhishek used to travel from Pune for auditions. Even after shifting cities, he continued auditioning regularly while trying to learn and improve as a performer.

"My first acting assignment in Mumbai was not something I had meticulously planned. It was one of those moments where preparation met opportunity. I had been auditioning consistently, learning, and facing rejection. Then one day, the call finally came," he recalled.

ABHISHEK SHARRMA REVEALS BEING NERVOUS BEFORE SHOOTING

The project turned out to be a digital advertisement, and the confirmation arrived unexpectedly late at night. "I was very excited when I got the confirmation. But once I processed it, nervousness kicked in. Suddenly, I realised that I was actually going to shoot the next day. It felt surreal because until then, you're chasing your dream, and suddenly someone trusts you enough to put you in front of a camera. That feeling is something I can never forget," Abhishek said.

When asked about a memory from his first shoot that still brings a smile to his face, the actor admitted that he was extremely nervous despite all the excitement. "The first day on set is a memory that still makes me smile. I reached almost an hour before the call time because I was so excited. At the same time, I was definitely nervous and didn't know how to process everything," he shared.

"It was a whole different thing facing the camera professionally for the first time," Abhishek explained.

Abhishek shared how facing the camera professionally for the first time turned out to be a totally different experience for him. "No matter how much you rehearse, the moment you hear 'action' on a professional set, it's a completely different feeling. I remember trying to look confident on the outside while making sure I didn't forget my steps. I think I had to perform a dance move, and I kept telling myself not to miss it," he said.

However, beyond the nervousness, one feeling stood out for him that day - a sense of belonging. After spending years watching actors on screen and dreaming about a career in the industry, he finally found himself standing on a real set.

"What stayed with me was the feeling of belonging. After years of watching actors on screen, I was finally standing where I had always imagined myself. That moment gave me confidence that I was on the right path. Even today, whenever I think about it, it reminds me why I started acting in the first place," Abhishek concluded.
