EXCL: Will Kunal Jaisingh Participate In Khatron Ke Khiladi 15? Ishqbaaz Star Turns Author; Talks About Nakuul
Kunal Jaisingh Exclusive: Kunal Jaisingh has unlocked a new potential and stepped into a fresh phase of his journey. After years of acting in front of the camera, the Ishqbaaaz actor has now turned author with his debut book, Unlock Your Potential.

In an exclusive interview with us, actor Kunal Jaisingh, at his candid best, opened up on what inspired him to try his hand at becoming an author. The actor also talked about whether he'd taken any tips from his Ishqbaaz co-star Nakuul Mehta about writing a book. He also went on to share his thoughts on doing reality shows like Khatron Ke Khiladi and Bigg Boss.
Here are excerpts from the interview:
1) From playing intense characters on-screen to writing 'Unlock Your Potential' - what unlocked your potential to become an author?
Honestly, it wasn't a switch-it was a slow realisation. For years, I was playing characters, but off-screen I was still figuring myself out. Somewhere along the journey, I realised I had gone through enough internal battles-self-doubt, fear, confusion-that had actually changed me. Writing became a way to make sense of that journey. It felt less like "becoming an author" and more like finally putting words to everything I had lived and learned.
2) How much of Unlock Your Potential is inspired by your own life experiences?
Almost all of it. This book is deeply personal. Every chapter comes from something I've lived through-whether it's dealing with fear, finding confidence, understanding discipline, or discovering purpose. That said, I've also written it in a way that allows readers to see their own lives in it. It's my story, but the emotions and struggles are universal.
3) Did you take any writing or creative tips from your Ishqbaaaz co-star Nakuul Mehta?
Nakuul is someone I respect a lot-he's incredibly articulate and expressive. While we didn't sit down for "writing lessons," being around him definitely influences you in subtle ways. You observe how he communicates, how he thinks, how he expresses ideas-and that naturally inspires you to raise your own level of clarity and expression.
4) Fans still miss you on television. When can we expect your return to the small screen? Are you currently exploring any TV or OTT scripts that excite you?
That love from the audience is something I'm always grateful for. Right now, I'm definitely open and exploring scripts - both television and OTT - but I'm being very selective. I want to come back with something that feels meaningful and exciting, not just for the audience but for me as an actor as well. Hopefully, something soon that truly connects.
5) With Khatron Ke Khiladi 15 and Bigg Boss 20 coming up, would you consider participating in reality shows?
I think reality shows are a very different space-they show a side of you that acting doesn't. It's definitely interesting, but for me, it would depend on the timing and the intent. If it aligns with where I am in life and feels like the right experience, I'd consider it. But it would have to be for the right reasons, not just visibility. This year is not that year for me.
