Gaurav Khanna Understands Importance Of Styling As An Extension Of His Personality: Stylist Krish Khatri
Gaurav Khanna was making heads turn in the Bigg Boss 19 house not just for his balanced and calm approach to the game but also for his effortlessly classy and polished fashion game. Stylist and costume designer Krish Khatri was behind Gaurav's mature, confident, and sophisticated looks, and he shared that the actor's strength is his simplicity, which he tried to bring out in his outfits too so that they don't look forced.

He said, "Gaurav and I have been friends for almost two decades now. I styled him for Bigg Boss, and it has been a very organic and collaborative association. From the very beginning, the focus was to understand his personality beyond the screen-his calm confidence, maturity, and understated strength. Bigg Boss is a high-visibility platform where authenticity matters as much as style, so our approach was to create looks that felt powerful yet effortless, never forced."
"Our association was built on trust and clear communication. Gaurav is extremely receptive to ideas and understands the importance of styling as an extension of his personality," he added.
With jackets and layered looks that made him stand out in the Bigg Boss house, Krish revealed that together they created looks that balanced comfort with sharp aesthetics, keeping in mind the game, dynamics, and evolving narratives. He said, "What suits Gaurav the most is clean, structured silhouettes with a minimal yet masculine edge. He carries classic tones-black, charcoal, ivory, earthy browns, and deep blues-exceptionally well."
"Tailored jackets, well-fitted shirts, layered looks, and subtle textures enhance his strong frame and calm demeanor. He doesn't need loud fashion; his strength lies in simplicity, fit, and confidence. For Gaurav, style works best when it's refined, timeless, and quietly impactful, allowing his personality to do the talking," he added.
However, he did add some elaborate designs for Gaurav too. He said, "Gaurav carried certain heavy designs with a lot of work with ease and grace too. His calming personality balanced such designs well."
Krish always had an inclination towards fashion and visual storytelling. He understood how clothes shape personality and character and pursued his master's in fashion in Dubai. He said, "It gave me a solid foundation in design, styling, and global fashion sensibilities. I then spent nearly 12 years in Dubai working as a fashion buyer and stylist with international brands, where I developed a sharp commercial eye, trend forecasting skills, and hands-on experience in styling for diverse markets."
In 2016, he moved to Mumbai to transition fully into costume design and celebrity styling. He said, "Working across films, web series, advertisements, and events helped me refine my approach-focusing not just on fashion, but on character, narrative, and authenticity. Over time, this evolved into a strong presence in the Indian entertainment industry."
Krish has worked with international brands such as Desigual, Parfois, Women'secret, Vincci, Tari, Iconic, and Scotch & Soda and has styled celebrities like Manoj Bajpayee. He said, "My costume design and styling work spans acclaimed projects like The Family Man, Silence, Gulmohar, and multiple feature films, web series, advertisements, and shows."
"My client base continues to grow across cinema, OTT platforms, advertising, and events, where I bring together global fashion experience with strong Indian storytelling," he concluded.
