Eleven contestants continue to be a part of the show, while others have made an exit based on votes and judges’ feedback.

The top 11 Indian Idol 16 contestants are Abhishek Kumar, Amritha Rajan, Ankita Pradhan, Anshika Chonkar, Diwakar Choubey, Jyotirmayee Nayak, Manraj Veer and Shreenidhi Shastry, Sugandha Date, Suhail and Tanishk Shukla. These contestants are in contention for the Indian Idol 16 winner's trophy.

Last week, Shreya Verma got evicted from the reality show, leaving the audience surprised. Last month, only one eviction happened Abhijeet Sharma bid adieu to Indian Idol 2025 because of lowest votes on SonyLIV.

In a major development, the makers scrapped the eviction process in the last weekend. "Indian Idol 16 has been churning out drama-packed episodes, capturing the attention of the viewers. The channel and the production house decided to scrap the elimination, giving another chance to the top 11 contestants. While no elimination was conducted in the past week, there is a high chance that the makers might evict a participant this week. The creative team wants to spice up the viewership by introducing newer segments. They have plans to invite special guests for the Valentine's Day 2026 episode," another source told Filmibeat Chief Copy Editor Abhishek Ranjit.
