Indian Idol 16 has announced its top 9 contestants, narrowing the field as the contest advances. Viewers now know which singers remain in the running for the trophy. The list features Abhishek Kumar, Amritha Rajan, Ankita Pradhan, Anshika Chonkar, Diwakar Choubey, Jyotirmayee Nayak, Manraj Veer, Suhail and Tanishk Shukla.

The selection of these Indian Idol 16 singers follows several weeks of auditions and performance rounds. Judges evaluated stage presence, song choice and consistency before finalising the current group. With eliminations becoming tighter, each performance from these nine contestants gains greater importance for both judges and audiences.

As Indian Idol 16 moves ahead with these top 9 contestants, competition has intensified further. The nine singers are vying for the winner's trophy of Indian Idol 2025.

Who Got Eliminated From Indian Idol 16? Full Eliminated Contestants List

Last month, the makers jetted off to Abu Dhabi to shoot an exciting edition of Indian Idol season 16 in Yas Island.

A reliable industry source earlier told Filmibeat Chief Copy Editor Abhishek Ranjit, "Indian Idol 16 just got grander with an exciting shoot in Yas Island. For the first time ever, the channel and the production house took the team to an international destination to shoot a power-packed episode of Indian Idol. Expect the unexpected in the new episodes. Interestingly, the makers have decided to scrap elimination this week. It means no evictions are happening, bringing cheers to the contestants."

No eliminations happened in the last two weeks, but the channel and the production house added a new twist in the tale by evicting a popular contestant on March 8.

Indian Idol 16 has already seen several favourites leave the stage as eliminations move the contest forward. Seven singers have exited the show so far, each leaving after specific weekend episodes.

Last week, Shreenidhi Shastry was eliminated from the show. Before that, viewers saw Sugandha Date leave on 15th February 2026. Earlier, Shreya Verma’s journey ended on 1st February 2026, marking another emotional weekend for regular followers.

Abhijeet Sharma was eliminated on 18th January 2026, shortly before Shreya Verma. In December 2025, Banashree Biswas left on 21st December 2025, after Manav, who was eliminated on 07th December 2025.

The remaining singers now face higher pressure as the makers have taken things a notch higher.
