Ishita Dixit has been strongly making her mark with her role as Pari in Anupamaa. Her performance has struck a chord with viewers, and off screen, she comes across just as grounded and real. On the occasion of Mother's Day, the actress spoke about the one person who has shaped her life the most - her mother.

Instead of recalling just one celebration, Ishita chose to talk about the journey she has shared with her mother over the years. She shared that her mother, who is a housewife, has always put her family before everything else. Becoming a parent at just 18, she took on responsibilities early, but never let that affect the love and care she gave.

Speaking about it, Ishita said, "My mother is a housewife. She dedicated all her life to taking care of us, fulfilling our dreams and happiness. My mother had me when she was just 18 years old. So, she's still like a cute kid. She wants to live life wholeheartedly, and she wants to enjoy life and travel as much as possible. She loves beaches and exploring new places."

There's a quiet determination in the way Ishita talks about giving back. For her, success is not just about personal achievements but also about making her mother's dreams come true. She shared, "I really want her to have everything. The main purpose of my life is to give everything to my mother, whatever she wishes to have. Because she sacrificed her dream and everything else for me. Now, she's very proud that I'm a part of Anupamaa and living the life that she wanted for herself. I feel beyond grateful that she's living her dream life through me. I can't explain this feeling in words."

When asked how her understanding of motherhood has changed with time, Ishita smiled as she described her bond with her mother. For her, it's less about rules and more about comfort and trust.

"In my family, motherhood is very different. She is my friend first. I share everything with her. She shares everything with me. We talk about boys, we talk about everything. I think there is nothing that I will be uncomfortable talking to her about - from going out to partying, anything."

She added, "There is nothing like a typical mother-daughter relationship; it's more than a friend. That friendship is very important because we are very chill with each other. I think I couldn't ask for a better mother in the universe. This is the best thing that has happened to me. I'm very happy that she's my mother."
