Jaane Anjaane Hum Mile’s Bharat Ahlawwat Recalls Shooting Jail Scene On Ice Slab: Skin Turned Red
Jaane Anjaane Hum Mile centres on Raghav as he is framed for a murder and subjected to police torture in jail. The show develops a complex murder mystery while documenting on set challenges faced by the cast, notably Bharat Ahlawwat, as viewers follow the investigation and potential suspects surrounding Kriti.
Zee TV drama Jaane Anjaane Hum Mile is heading into a tense track, with Bharat Ahlawwat’s character Raghav facing brutal police torture after being framed for Kriti’s murder. Upcoming episodes show Raghav in jail, where officers pressure a confession through violent methods, including forcing Raghav to lie on a slab of ice during interrogation.

The sequence, though designed to appear intense on screen, demanded heavy effort from Bharat Ahlawwat, who performed without body doubles. Bharat lay on an actual block of ice, with a bare torso, for long stretches. The team aimed for realism, but the extreme cold made the shoot both mentally draining and physically painful for Bharat.

Describing the experience, Bharat shared how the jail torture scenes pushed personal limits. Bharat said, "It was a very different experience for me. I've never done something like this before. The jail torture scene was quite new and challenging. When I first read it, I was excited as an artist to get the opportunity to perform something so different. The scene wasn't very long, but the intensity was high."
The actor added that one specific part of the sequence proved hardest to manage. Bharat continued, "The most difficult part was lying on ice. There was only a very thin sheet, which kept shifting with movement, and since the scene involved struggling and reacting to torture, controlling the body while maintaining modesty was quite tough."
Jaane Anjaane Hum Mile murder mystery deepens for Raghav
Bharat also spoke about the after-effects once filming wrapped. Bharat said, "After the shoot, it had a real physical impact, my skin turned red, and at one point, it honestly felt like my mind had stopped working because of the extreme cold and discomfort. But that's part of the process as an actor. Overall, it was challenging, but I also really enjoyed doing it. The shoot has turned out very well, and I hope the audience connects with and appreciates the scene."
Within the story, Raghav’s arrest on murder charges adds fresh suspense to Jaane Anjaane Hum Mile, which stars Bharat Ahlawwat as Raghav and Aayushi Khurrana as Reet. The narrative now raises key questions around Kriti, played by Gouri Agarwal. Viewers are left wondering whether Kriti is actually dead or remains hidden somewhere.
The mystery also points towards the person who might have framed Raghav in the case. The plot hints at two possible players, Kriti or Sharda Bua, portrayed by Jayati Bhatia. As the investigation and torture scenes unfold in coming episodes, the show continues its 10:30 PM telecast slot on Zee TV, keeping the focus on Raghav’s fate.
