Jagadhatri Star Farman Haider: Shivay’s Journey Is Getting More Intense, I’m Grateful To Explore That Depth
Actor Farman Haider, who plays the role of Shivaay in Rahul Kumar Tewary's Jagadhatri, speaks about the feedback and challenges he faces while portraying a role like this. On asking about the preparation of Shivay he says,"Honestly, the preparation was more internal than external. I spent time understanding Shivay's mental state like his fear, sense of responsibility, and emotional conflicts. I would like to mention here the most challenging scene was where Shivay has to remain emotionally strong while everything around him is breaking down. He can't express what he feels because of his duty. I believe playing suppressed emotions is always harder than loud drama it requires control and honesty."

When asked how his character has evolved compared to the start of the show he says,"In the beginning, Shivay was very composed, almost guarded. Now, those layers are slowly opening up. He has become more vulnerable and more human. The audience is seeing the emotional cost of being an undercover officer, and that evolution really excites me as an actor."
Those who watched the show they know there is a lot of action, stunts revolves around Shivay's role. He adds,"The action is physically demanding, no doubt. I train regularly and follow safety protocols strictly. Shukran Allah, no major injuries so far just minor bruises that come with the job."
The show has some amazing cast like Sonakshi Batra, Sayantani Ghosh, Yesha Harsora on his co stars Farman shares," Strong performances feed off each other. When your co-actor is fully present and honest, it pushes you to give more. The chemistry and trust on set make intense scenes more believable and emotionally charged."
Farman believes he connects personally with Shivay's emotional ups and downs. I connected deeply with Shivay's sense of responsibility. Even in real life, when you carry expectations of family, work, or society you often hide your emotions. That emotional parallel helped me relate closely to his journey. There's a moment where Shivay has to choose between emotion and duty. That conflict is very real and relatable. I feel the audience will remember it because it reflects life sometimes doing the right thing hurts the most. Also, the Shivay-Mahesh (father) moment, where Shivay approaches his father longing for acceptance, is very powerful."
Handsome Farman has a loyal fandom. "The response has been overwhelming and extremely motivating. Fans are messaging me saying how real and intense Shivay feels now. Many mention they can sense his pain even in silence, which is very rewarding as an actor. Now I am excited about the deeper layers yet to unfold the moral dilemmas, emotional revelations, and unexpected turns. Shivay's journey is only getting more intense, and I'm grateful to explore that depth on screen."
