Actress and social media influencer Jannat Zubair and her younger brother Ayaan Zubair recently faced a harrowing experience after the sibling duo was subjected to a physical assault on the highway in broad daylight.
Previously, reports went rife that Jannat and Ayaan recently went to Panvel and during their trip, they were allegedly attacked. It was also reported that the two had sustained minor injuries during the incident.
Soon after this, their fans started to express their concern online. Yesterday, Jannat's team issued a clarification on the same. Talking about the incident, they confirmed that Jannat and Ayaan faced a "distressing experience involving physical assault and a brazen chase incident on the highway during broad daylight". In the statement, they further added that the siblings are now safe.
The team confirmed that an investigation is currently going on and urged everyone to avoid spreading rumors.

Taking to Instagram, Jannat's team has officially shared a statement on the assault incident. The note read, "Hi all. We would like to update everyone that Jannat and Ayaan faced a distressing experience involving physical assault and a brazen chase incident on the highway during broad daylight yesterday. "Currently, the investigation is ongoing, with the police authorities actively looking into the matter. Jannat and Ayaan are safe now. Please refrain from speculation or spreading unverified information."
