Kanwar Dhillon, who is seen as Sachin in Rahul Kumar Tewary & Rolling Tales Production's Udne Ki Aasha, was happy to shoot for a track in Amritsar. He calls Punjab his second home and shared that since his aunt lives there, he has been visiting the city since childhood, and coming back there for professional work felt personal to him.

He said, "Shooting in Amritsar was truly a very special and emotional experience for me. Punjab feels like my second home because my father belongs to a small town called Patti, near the Punjab-Pakistan border in the Amritsar district, and my bua's house is in Amritsar. I've been visiting the city since childhood-every Diwali, Holi, and New Year was celebrated there. So going back to a place where I've grown up and receiving so much love for Udne Ki Aasha felt incredibly personal."

"We did visit the Golden Temple at night, and it was absolutely peaceful and beautiful. There is something spiritually uplifting about being there. Visiting Amritsar and not going to the Golden Temple would be unthinkable for me. That moment will stay with me forever, and this entire schedule will always remain very close to my heart because of the love we received from everyone, especially the locals," he added.

Amritsar is known for its distinct vibe, and the actor feels it is unmatched when it comes to food, warmth, and hospitality. He said, "From breakfast to dinner, we indulged in everything we could. Amritsar's lassi is something I've loved since childhood. I had sarson da saag and makki di roti almost every day while shooting. I completely forgot about my diet plan during the eight to ten days we were in Punjab."

"On the last day of the shoot, we finally got some time to explore the markets and local spots while filming a few montages. We also visited the Attari Border and watched the entire ceremony. It made me feel very nostalgic because the last time I had seen it was during my childhood, and now it has been scaled up so much. Spending time with my cousins during this schedule was also very special. These are memories I will always cherish," he added.

He pointed out that the Amritsar track is a very unique and important break in the storyline. He said, "Visually, it's a refreshing change for the audience. Viewers can expect a lot of drama, emotional moments, and some lighthearted comedy as well. The track also offers a beautiful visual treat because of the real locations and the essence of Amritsar. I genuinely feel this was exactly the kind of break our show needed at this point."

The sequence was directed by Rahul Kumar Tewary, and Kanwar mentioned that it was an amazing experience being directed by him. He said, "It's always special when he is on set personally guiding us through his vision and explaining exactly what he wants. His brief for the Amritsar track was actually quite simple-everything was already clearly written on paper, and we just had to follow the narrative and go with the flow."

"At the same time, we also made a few impromptu changes to certain scenes wherever needed. The climate conditions were tough, and the long shooting hours really tested our patience, but with Rahul sir's clarity and the entire team's effort, we were able to sail through smoothly. It was truly teamwork that made it possible," he added.

He confessed that the most unexpected challenge they faced in Amritsar was definitely the weather. He said, "Towards the evening, it would turn quite chilly. There were many days when we were shooting until 2 or 3 a.m., and the temperature would drop to around 12-13 degrees. I was shooting in kurta pyjamas, and it was freezing. There was one particular sequence that we shot in the middle of the fields at night-a long scene between Sachin and Sailee. There was heavy smog, very little visibility, and we were literally shivering. But we didn't want to compromise because that was the demand of the scene."

"Every morning was smoggy, and outdoor schedules come with their own challenges. However, shooting on real locations added authenticity and depth to our performances. Despite the tough climate and long hours, it was the teamwork that helped us push through. In the end, I think the effort shows on screen, and I'm really happy we were able to make this happen," Kanwar concluded.
