Kundali Bhagya Star Sanjay Gagnani On His Kedarnath Yatra: It Felt Like Mahadev Was Waiting

Sanjay Gagnani may be best known as TV's ultimate antagonist Prithvi Malhotra from Kundali Bhagya, but off-screen, the actor just had a spiritual high unlike any other. From Naagin 4, Naagin 6 to Kumkum Bhagya and Veera, he's played intense roles - yet nothing prepared him for Kedarnath.

And when he talks about it, you can feel the goosebumps.

"The energy there is impossible to explain unless you experience it," Sanjay shares. "It doesn't feel like you are visiting a temple. It feels like the mountain itself is alive."

For the Hamari Devrani and Bairi Piya star, the blessings started early. "We were blessed in ways I still cannot process. We got a temple-view room, and honestly, that itself felt like prasad from Mahadev," he says. "The entire day, we would just sit outside near our room and keep staring at the temple. No phones, no distractions. Just us, the mountains, and Mahadev."

The highlight? Timing that felt divine. "After almost 11 hours of trekking, we reached just 5 minutes before the evening Aarti started," he recalls. "What are the odds? It felt less like coincidence and more like Mahadev saying, 'I was waiting.'"

Standing for darshan of the Jyotirling left him speechless. "The energies and vibrations were beyond words. Some experiences are not meant to be explained - only felt."

Sanjay and his group also sought blessings at Bhairav Baba Mandir and thanked Bheem Shila for protecting Kedarnath during the 2013 floods. "Everywhere we went, there was this feeling that Mahadev's presence is not limited to the temple itself."

He's visited many temples, but this was different. "Kedarnath is truly heaven on earth. Every stone, every mountain, every corner carries Mahadev's vibe," he says.

His final thought sums it up: "Standing there, I didn't feel like I had reached Kedarnath. I felt like Kedarnath had accepted me."

For an actor who lives drama on-screen, this was real, raw, and unforgettable.
