Laughter Chefs 3: Sudesh Lehri’s Dhurandhar-style entry

When Sudesh Lehri walked in, the entry matched Nia’s demand in style. Sudesh arrived dressed as Hamza Ali Mazari, the fictional persona played by Ranveer Singh in Dhurandhar. Staying in character, Sudesh told Nia that he wanted to do "Operation Mangalsutra" with her and pushed for a playful task involving her earlier cooking partner.

The first challenge in episode 55 centred on the Gujarati snack Khandvi. Chef Harpal explained that earlier contestants had failed to meet expectations and had missed out on golden stars. All seven celebrity pairs now had a chance to correct that record with a better attempt at the delicacy.

The second cooking face-off involved Aloo Matar, a regular feature in many Indian homes. Contestants had to make a Punjabi style gravy and also present shaped potato swirls. The brief demanded two perfect Aloo swirls, each at least three inches high, with a soft and smooth finish. Aly Goni and Jannat Zubair’s plate earned the judges’ nod here.
