Shreya sparked a fresh controversy after making sharp personal remarks in Lock Upp 2. She claimed she was "bigger than all of them" because her career had "just begun". She also said she was not doing a reality show to "revive" her career, unlike others.

"I know that I am bigger than all of them, because my life has just begun. This is not the only show that I have to do and win. I am going to do a lot more in life, I know that, and I am proud of it. I am talented and skill. "I am not here to revive my career like them. Like, all my shows are flopping, so let me do a reality show". That way, I will regain my audience. Their career is dead. Calling Harshad Chopda 'arrogant', Shreya said that 'no one was offering him work'. He said that 'no woman would marry a guy like him', drawing sharp criticism from all corners.
