Lock Upp season 2: Sorry, Shilpa Shinde, but you have crossed the line in Lock Upp: Sach By Sazaa by making a sexual joke at a fellow actress. The Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain actress tried to troll Shivangi Joshi, but instead faced fan backlash on social media for her remarks in the Netflix show.

Shows like Bigg Boss, Lock Upp 2 and The 50 often involve catfights, heated arguments and nasty potshots. However, Shilpa crossed the line when she decided to make a sexual joke about another actress when the latter had done nothing against her in the show.
It all started when the Bigg Boss 11 winner made a sexual joke about Shivangi while she interacted with Shreya Kalra and Madhuri Jain Grover. Mind you, Shivangi was not a part of the conversation.
While taking digs at opponents in reality shows is common, commenting about someone's personal space is not justified. Filmibeat Assistant Editor Abhishek Ranjit strongly reacted to the episode, expressing his displeasure over Shilpa Shinde's behaviour. I have a few questions for her.
Why not keep the rivalry and arguments limited only to gameplay? Why not discuss things related to the show? Why drag things that have no direct connection to Lock Upp 2?
It was her remark that boiled our blood as she casually mentioned Shivangi's name and mocked her.
Taking a dig at Harshad Chopda and Shivangi Joshi's association, Shilpa mocked her and said, "Main to virgin hu, shaadi ke baad hi karugi." Shreya Kalra laughed and didn't show any signs of disappointment when a senior actress like Shilpa continued to take a dig at Shivangi.
Shivangi Joshi had no idea that someone was batmouthing her behind her back. She couldn't defend herself, so I am expecting Farah Khan and Riteish Deshmukh to take a stand for her.

The netizens lashed out at Shilpa for her distasteful comment against Shivangi. One user wrote on X, "Shreya always used to complain that Shivangi never took her side, even though everyone knows how genuinely Shivangi has stood by her friends. Such a disgusting remark. The reason Shilpa said this today is because of Shreya, and even after hearing it, Shreya was laughing. This is the same Shreya who had an issue when similar things were said about Akanksha Choudhary on a podcast. And also today, when it's about Shivangi, she's laughing. Shame on both ladies (sic)."
Another X user tweeted, "This was so below the belt. #ShilpaShinde and #ShreyaKalra have crossed all the limits. I hope they get called out this time (sic)."
