In an exclusive conversation with Filmibeat Assistant Editor Abhishek Ranjit, Manish shared his two cents on how emotions would remain the core element in storytelling. He spoke about the challenge of blending technology-driven filmmaking with human emotions.

The TV heartthrob explained that ensuring AI is not able to overshadow emotion would be the most important aspect of hybrid cinema.

"Technology can impress people for a few seconds but emotion is what makes them stay," he shared. According to him, audiences may admire visuals, but they connect deeply only when stories feel emotionally honest. "People don't buy popcorn for beautifully arranged pixels; they buy it for feelings," he added.

The filmmaker further explained that cinema has never truly been about the tools, but about how effectively those tools communicate emotions. Referring to films like Searching, he pointed out how stories told through computer screens and mobile phones are still connected globally because the emotional storytelling remains powerful.

Manish revealed that while creating hybrid cinema, his team constantly asks one important question: "Are people noticing the technology or are they feeling the story?" According to him, the magic happens when technology blends so naturally into storytelling that audiences stop focusing on AI and simply experience the emotions.

Sharing advice for storytellers exploring AI in Indian entertainment, the Sasural Simar Ka actor urged creators to chase curiosity instead of trends. "Treat AI like the human mind: the best slave and the worst master," he said, adding that technology should expand imagination, not replace originality or emotional depth in storytelling.
