Mannat Cast After Leap Update: Actress Amrapali Gupta is back on TV, and she's not here to play safe. Amrapali Gupta On Joining Mannat Cast As New Villain

AMRAPALI GUPTA TALKS ABOUT JOINING MANNAT CAST AFTER RECENT LEAP

Amrapali Gupta, who was last seen in Rabb Se Hai Dua before it wrapped on 2 December 2024, has entered Mannat as Samragyi. But after the show's big time leap, her role exploded. With Mona Vasu's exit as Aishwarya, Amrapali took over the primary negative track and made it her own.

For her, playing the vamp is where the real fun begins. "Give me the vamp any day. Heroes react, but villains create the storm," she says. "Playing good is safe. Playing bad is free. That's where the real performance lives, in the shadows."

She's done it more than once, and she knows the impact. "It feels like a strange win. You become the woman everyone loves to hate, yet can't look away from. When people quote your lines years later, you know you did it right. You turned danger into glamour."

AMRAPALI GUPTA ON MAKING HER CHARACTER FASHIONABLE ON-SCREEN

Style matters too. Amrapali calls fashion on screen a "conversation," not just costume. "Stepping into a look no one's seen before is thrilling and terrifying. Your eyeliner, your silhouette, even your hair clip could become tomorrow's trend. When we get it right, the audience doesn't just watch the character. They wear her."

Her journey started in theatre before her TV debut on DD National's Khushiyan. Since the early 2000s, she's starred in 30+ shows including Teen Bahuraaniyaan, Ishqbaaaz, Bahu Begum, Tujhse Hai Raabta, and Ssshhhh...Koi Hai.

Off screen, she connects with fans through Amrapali's Kitchen, her social media series of quick, health-conscious recipes. With Mannat, Amrapali Gupta proves again: she doesn't just play the villain. She owns her.
