MTV Splitsvilla 16 | Kashish Kapoor Calls Out Niharika Tiwari For Targeting Preet Singh Over Assault Incident
The finale of MTV Splitsvilla X6 may be over, but the controversies surrounding the contestants are far from ending. Social media has been buzzing ever since finalist Niharika Tiwari made shocking remarks during a heated argument in the finale episode. While viewers were already upset over her alleged disrespectful behaviour towards Nia Sharma, another statement aimed at contestant Preet Singh sparked massive outrage online.

During the fight, Niharika allegedly mocked Preet over an assault incident that reportedly happened with her in Mumbai. In the viral clip, Niharika was heard saying, "Ek baar teri fielding set hui hai na Mumbai mai, ek baar maar khai hai na tu Mumbai mai." The statement instantly grabbed attention online, with many viewers calling it insensitive, distasteful and an example of victim shaming.
Soon after the episode aired, former MTV Splitsvilla contestant Kashish Kapoor reacted strongly to the controversy through a video on social media. Kashish slammed Niharika for bringing up a traumatic incident during an argument and accused her of shaming a victim just to win a fight.
Reacting to the incident, Kashish said, "Did she really tell Preet, 'ek baar teri fielding set hui hai na Mumbai mai, ek baar maar khai hai na tu Mumbai mai'? Seriously? That's cheap. That's uneducated. And that's the lowest of the lows. I don't even know. You just proved Preet right. You just proved Preet's point right. You absolutely proved her right. She didn't even have to clarify. This is shaming the victim. This is why most victims don't come forward. Because the moment they come forward, one way or another, somebody or the other, in a stupid argument just to win, will use it against them. This is why most victims don't come forward. This girl just came forward about something so embarrassing, kind of traumatic, and shameful because of the stigma around it, thanks to people like you. She came forward and mentioned how she was physically assaulted, attacked, in a city like Mumbai. And you made fun of her for your personal vendetta. You made fun of her - 'You got beaten up once in Mumbai.' Victim blaming and victim shaming at the highest order. Wow. How brainless is this girl, Niharika? Because they're saying that her connection is fake, that it was made on the show. And she thinks the answer to that is, 'You got beaten up in Mumbai. Your fielding was set.' Okay fine, somebody slapped you - it was wrong. But will you cut someone's leg? It was worse with her. How are you even comparing it? Don't you use your brain? What the f**k? Now Niharika doesn't understand... what should I say?'"
Kashish's video has now gone viral across social media, with several users supporting her stand and criticising Niharika's remarks. The controversy has once again sparked conversations around victim shaming, accountability, and the toxic nature of personal attacks during reality show confrontations.
