National Brothers Day: The Young Kauravas And Pandavas Of Sony SAB’s Hastinapur Ke Veer Reveal How...
Mumbai, May 22nd, 2026: Sony SAB's upcoming mythological saga Hastinapur Ke Veer, premiering on 2nd June at 9 PM, brings alive the legendary tale of the Pandavas and Kauravas, tracing their formative years, relationships, rivalries and the bonds that shaped history. On the occasion of National Brothers Day, which is celebrated on 24th May, the spirit of brotherhood extends beyond the screens as the young cast members portraying the Pandavas and Kauravas celebrate the special bond they have built while bringing these iconic characters to life.

As audiences gear up to witness the epic journey of these legendary brothers, the young actors portraying the Pandavas (Athar Khan as Yudhishthir, Subhash as Bheem, Urva Savaliya as Arjun, Harit Gabani as Nakul and Mayank Yadav as Sahdev) and Kauravas (Ayudh Bhanushali as Duryodhan and Shaurya Upadhyay as Dushasan) share how playing siblings on screen has naturally strengthened their off-screen camaraderie too. From rehearsing intense scenes together to spending long hours on set, the cast has built a bond filled with friendship, fun banter, teamwork and mutual support, much like a real family. Whether it's helping each other perfect scenes, sharing meals between shoots or indulging in playful mischief, the young actors say the experience has made their connection stronger with every passing day.
Talking about the bond they share off-screen, the actors said,
Urva Savaliya, who plays Arjun, said, "One of my favourite things about shooting for the show is spending time with everyone on set. We practice scenes together, help each other during action sequences and also have a lot of fun in between takes. Sometimes we even forget we are acting because our bond feels so real. I think all of us have learned how important teamwork and friendship are while working together as the Pandavas and Kauravas."
Athar Khan, who plays Yudhishtir, said, "Playing brothers on screen has been super fun because all of us have become really close in real life too. We spend so much time together every day that it feels like we're actually one big family. Between shots, we keep joking around, playing games and helping each other remember lines. Even during serious scenes, we support one another and make sure everyone gives their best shot."
Subhash, who plays Bheem, said, "Whenever someone gets tired or nervous before a scene, all of us cheer each other up. We rehearse together, eat together and even compete during games in our free time. I think because we are such good friends off screen, our bond as brothers looks very natural on screen too."
Ayudh Bhanushali, who plays Duryodhan, said, "Even though Duryodhan and the Pandavas don't always get along in the story, off-screen we are all really good friends. We spend most of our time together on set, so naturally we've become very close. We play games, crack jokes and sometimes even have friendly competitions between scenes. It's honestly a lot like having a group of brothers around all the time, which makes shooting even more exciting and fun."
