Niharika Chouksey: “A Jodi Like Anu And Arya Is Very Rare On Indian Television”

After months of emotional twists, family opposition, and heartfelt moments, Anu and Arya's wedding has finally become a cherished milestone in Tumm Se Tumm Tak. The grand wedding sequence struck a chord with viewers, who had eagerly waited to see the couple unite. Looking back on the memorable track, actress Niharika Chouksey, who plays Anu, describes the wedding shoot as one of the most special and unforgettable experiences of her journey on the show.

Speaking about her favourite moment from the wedding track, Niharika shared, "I think the whole wedding was shot very beautifully, but my favourite thing was during the sindoor moment. The sindoor had naturally fallen on my nose, and it is considered lucky. It was a beautiful moment. Also, when my bidaai took place and I was sitting in the doli, it was a very beautiful shot. Both those moments will always stay with me."

Having completed more than 300 episodes, the actress believes her personal journey as a performer has evolved alongside Anu's growth as a character.

"We have completed more than 300-plus episodes and I have seen so much growth in the character of Anu and even in myself. Acting is such a profession where the more you work, the more you keep learning, and that's exactly what's happening with me. We have such a lovely team. Usually things get monotonous on television, but not for me here. I get to play every shade of Anu, and that has helped me grow tremendously as an actor," she said.

Reflecting on the most challenging phase of Anu's emotional journey, Niharika revealed that the period leading up to the wedding was particularly demanding. "Anu's journey has been beautiful, but if you ask me what has been the most challenging phase, then it was the time when I was stuck between Arya sir and my dad in the show. We had to impress my dad so that he would agree to the marriage. With Arya sir, Anu has a different kind of love, and with her dad, it's a completely different bond. Anu was caught between the two, and it was emotionally draining to shoot so many intense scenes."

The actress also believes that the popularity of Anu and Arya stems from the purity of their relationship.
"A jodi like Anu and Arya is very rare on Indian television. People love them because it is like an old-school romance where they express their love through their eyes. It is sheer, pure love, and I think that's what makes them different from other television couples," she explained.

Now that the wedding celebrations have concluded, Niharika is eager for viewers to witness the next chapter in the story.

"I am very excited because now most of the scenes will be of Anu and Arya, which all our fans wanted. Many truths will come out, and my bond with Gayatri Maa, Mansi, and Harsh will also be explored. There are a lot of new dynamics and relationships that viewers will get to see, so the upcoming storyline is going to be very interesting."
