Not Tough At All: Nasirr Khan, On Ramazan, Shares It Brings Everyone Together
The holy month of Ramazan is being observed by Muslims all over the world as a month of fasting, prayers, and togetherness. Actor Nasirr Khan, who is seen as Jhende in Tumm Se Tumm Tak, which is produced by Prateek Sharma and Parth Shah's Studio LSD, shares that it keeps him more aware, and he is happy to be celebrating it with the cast and crew of his ongoing show.

He said, "It's not tough at all; fasting in Ramzan is just like another day at work. Koi farq nahi padta (it doesn't matter). In fact, it keeps you more alert and agile."
"At Iftaar time the entire unit gets together irrespective of religion and whether one is fasting or not, and we all break our fast together. That is the beauty of Ramzan, and that is the beauty of our industry. We all are one," he added.
He carries his own food for Iftaar, but it is always enough for everyone. He said, "Aap kisi se bhi pooch lee jiye, whoever has worked with me, actors, directors, DOP, lightmen, spot boys, sab ne mere ghar ka khaana khaaya hua hai (You can ask anyone who has ever worked with me, actors, directors, dopes, lightmen, spot boys; everyone has eaten food from my house)." When my father (Johnny Walker) was acting, he used to take food for 40-50 people every day."
For Nasirr, this one month of fasting is important, not just from a religious perspective but also from a health point of view. He said, "It keeps you healthy, it keeps you grounded, it makes you break the monotony of life, and it refreshes and resets your mind, body, and soul."
He enjoys breaking fast with the cast and crew and said, "It is a beautiful feeling, and that is the month of Ramzan, of giving and sharing."
"The atmosphere on the set is very positive, and everyone gathers around together. Tab kisi mein koi farq nahi hota hai. Sab ek saath baith roza kholte hain. (Then there's no difference between anyone. Everyone sits together and breaks their fast)," Nasirr ended.
