Producer Prateek Sharma On Shabir-Sriti They Both

Sharing more on his journey he says,"On July 1st, 2010, I arrived in Mumbai from Indore with just one bag because I'd landed a job at Star as a creative intern. I've worked with them for a good six or seven years since then.

This is the first time I'm producing a show for Star Plus. It feels amazing, like being on home ground. The place where I learned everything and gained experience to create content. Now, working for that same place as a production partner is a great feeling."

Sharing more on the iconic reel Jodi of Shabir and Sriti, Prateek says,"I was lucky enough to work with Shabir in a previous project - Pyar Ka Pehla Naam: Radha Mohan. This time we got an opportunity where we could develop a story and have the courage to bring Shabir and Sriti together in a simple story they'd both like. "O Humnava, Tum Dena Saath Mera" gave us that chance.

Whenever a new show comes we do say a lot of things about the show and the characters and try to portray that we're trying to show something different. But through this story, we aren't trying to show anything "different." We're showing the things a man goes through in his life and the various stages a woman experiences.

It's an everyday story about love, household bickering, and the dreams and aspirations of two people. It touches on a significant social reality, but we aren't commenting on it or making it a drama; we're just telling a story that is likely happening in a corner of everyone's home."

Prateek adds,"I've been in this industry for many years, and Shabbir and Sriti have been a part of it for a long time too. One thing everyone on our team says from the spot boy to the director is that they are both wonderful human beings.

Working with them is cake walk. Convincing them to take on a character is my job; I have to answer their questions and provide logic for any concerns they might have when signing onto a project. I have a very comfortable relationship with Shabir, both professionally and personally. He's someone I truly look up to. That's why it feels wrong to say it took "effort," because working with them doesn't feel like work at all.

They cover for your mistakes and shortcomings, which doesn't usually happen. It doesn't feel like we're working. I got to know Sriti through Shabir, and she is just as great a person as he is. Honestly, at the risk of sounding like I'm patronizing them, I mean every word. When you get to work with such good people, work doesn't feel like work anymore."
