Pranit More Reacts To Massive Backlash Amid 370 Biryani Controversy: 'I Deserve This Hate But Please...'
Pranit More Controversy: Renowned comedian and former Bigg Boss 19 contestant Pranit More landed in a massive trouble lately after a video from his recent show went viral on social media. The video featured a young man from Gurgaon, Himanush Jangra, who got candid about his date and how he considered having Rs 370 biryani as consent from his lady. In fact, he was also seen making shockingly derogatory remarks about his woman which didn't go down well with the netizens. As a result, not just Himanshu but Pranit also received massive backlash over the controversy.

Elvish Yadav took a jibe at Pranit and stated, "₹370 ki biryani ne do cheezein expose kar di: Ek aadmi ko laga consent ka MRP hota hai. Aur ek comedian ko laga har uncomfortable silence ko laughter track se bachaya ja sakta hai. Biryani toh dum pe bani thi, controversy ego pe". On the other hand, Kusha Kapila also took a jibe at Pranit's comedy and stated, "Urge women to call out disgusting comedy plenty. Please darna mat. Bakwaas kee hai toh drag karo badhiya se. Uploading a clip like that is a choice. Choosing to crack 'certain' jokes on women and hosting that on your channel IS A CHOICE. All of it IS A CHOICE. This, btw, is not comedy! It's content designed to get a reaction. I am so glad so many women are calling it out. Bahut achha lag raha hai. Bahut mazza aa raha hai. Aaj main apne paison se order karke biryani khaungi." While an FIR has also been lodged against Pranit and others involved in the controversy, the comedian has now shared a new video reacting to the FIR and the backlash
Pranit More Reacts To Rs 370 Biryani Controversy
In a video shared on his Instagram handle, Pranit said that he deserves the hate that is coming his way. He stated, "I wanted to address this issue for a long time, but I couldn't because my Instagram account was suspended. You must have seen the crowd-work video for which I have been receiving a lot of hate. I deserve this criticism because during that crowd interaction, I made multiple derogatory remarks. People laughed, and I got carried away. It was a lapse in judgment". While Pranit also emphasised that he is cooperating with the legal actions against him, he apologised and requested for a second chance from the audience.
Meanwhile, Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis also criticised Pranit More and stated, as per a report in Times Now, "While everyone enjoys stand-up comedy, and I watch it myself, it is not right to violate societal boundaries or the limits of dignity in the pursuit of entertainment. That would amount to an injustice against people. Therefore, I feel that stand-up comedy should be performed with due regard for at least the minimum parameters of dignity".
