While many daily soaps have faced the axe due to dipping numbers, Karuna Pandey's popular Sony SAB has maintained the ratings, grabbing eyeballs from all corners.
In an exclusive conversation with Filmibeat Assistant Editor Abhishek Ranjit, Karuna Pandey got candid about the show achieving the massive feat. She also revealed her favourite moments from Pushpa Impossible as she bared her heart out in a fun-filled interview.
Throughout the exclusive Tête-à-Tête with Karuna ma'am, I was in awe of how effortlessly she answered the questions and shared her expertise from her star-studded career.
The Four Pushpa Impossible Moments Closest To Karuna Pandey's Heart
After spending four years as Pushpa Patel, choosing memorable moments wasn't easy. However, Karuna eventually listed the scenes that define the show's journey for her.
"The first and most significant moment was when Pushpa tells her children that she wants to return to school and continue her education. That was the turning point of the show. It was the scene that defined Pushpa's journey and everything changed from there," she said.
The second unforgettable moment came when Pushpa was thrown out of her house and the entire chawl stood by her side in solidarity.
"Everyone slept outside with her. They had tea together, breakfast together and supported her until she got her dignity back. It was such a powerful moment," the Devanshi actress added.
The third chapter that remains special is Pushpa's school journey-her gradual growth, learning experiences and determination to prove herself despite societal expectations.
She also talked about playing a double in Pushpa Impossible, calling it an enriching experience. "Essaying a dual role, and that too a character like Basanti Mishra, was like cherry on the cake," she concluded.
JD Majethia Is A Producer With A Heart
Karuna had nothing but praise for veteran producer JD Majethia, whose body of work includes several iconic television shows.
Calling him one of the finest people she has worked with, the actress highlighted his ability to balance creativity with compassion.
"First of all, he's a wonderful human being. He understands people and never compromises on production quality. He always stands by his actors, directors and technicians. Whenever someone needs support, he is there. He has a brain, emotions and integrity. That combination is very rare," she said.
She further added that his positivity and values are reflected in the kind of content he creates.
