Pushpa Impossible: Muskan Bamne Finds Inspiration In The Film Sanju For Her Character’s Heartfelt RJ Role
Sony SAB's Pushpa Impossible continues to strike an emotional chord with viewers through its inspiring stories and layered characters. In the current track, Shanaya (Muskan Bamne) finds herself on a transformative journey inside jail, where an unexpected opportunity helps her discover her inner strength and purpose. Encouraged by the warden, Shanaya steps into the role of a radio jockey and begins hosting a heartfelt radio segment titled 'Pushpa Kya Kehti Hai', where she shares the life lessons and positivity she has learnt from Pushpa with fellow inmates, hoping to inspire and uplift them through her words.

To prepare for this emotional phase of Shanaya's journey, Muskan Bamne spent time understanding the emotional space her character was in, someone who is dealing with vulnerability, but also slowly finding hope in the most unexpected way. While exploring references that could help her connect with Shanaya's mindset, one performance that stayed with her throughout the process was Ranbir Kapoor in Sanju, especially the scene where Sanju hosts a radio show while being in jail. The honesty and vulnerability in that moment deeply connected with Muskan and helped her shape Shanaya's emotional arc with more sensitivity and warmth.
Talking about this, Muskan Bamne, who portrays the role of Shanaya said, "Shanaya is going through so many emotions right now and somewhere along the way, she starts finding strength in her own voice. That felt very real and beautiful to me. While preparing for these scenes, I remembered Ranbir Kapoor in Sanju, especially the radio scene in jail. There was something very heartfelt and genuine about the way that moment was portrayed and it really inspired me while working on Shanaya's journey. I tried to understand how someone in such a difficult situation can still become a source of positivity for others. I loved the idea that even in a difficult environment, Shanaya chooses to spread positivity and hope through her show, 'Pushpa Kehti Hai'. It becomes her way of healing, connecting and making a difference to the people around her."
Tune in to watch Pushpa Impossible, every Monday to Saturday at 9:00 PM, only on Sony SAB.
