MOHIT JASWANI OPENS UP ABOUT BIDDIND ADIEU TO NAAGIN 7

"There's a quiet satisfaction of having finished something hard and collaborative. You see dailies and know you gave what you had. A 6-month drama you loved feels like a breakup," Mohit Jaswani exclusively told Filmibeat.

He added that the first night after wrap felt strange. "That first night after wrap - you go home, you're not in character, and the silence feels both peaceful and strange. I'm thankful to Ekta maam for this opportunity after Kumkum Bhagya. I would love collaborate with her shows again in future. I have learnt a lot on her sets from the team. I will be missing everyone."

In Naagin 7, Mohit played Arjun, the younger brother of Aryaman Suri, played by Namik Paul.

MOHIT JASWANI SHARES SAIRAAB CHARACTER DETAILS

The transition to Sairaab happened almost immediately. "There's nothing like the high of closing one door and stepping straight into another. One day you're saying goodbye to a character you lived with for months, feeling the ache of letting them go. The next, you're on a new set, script in hand, heart beating fast because everything is possible again," he said.

"The excitement of meeting new individuals, hear a new story, and feel that spark. It's the best kind of alive."

Sairaab is the Hindi remake of the Kannada hit Manasella Neene. The show will see Rohit Chandel as a popular singing sensation navigating fame and emotional turmoil, while Madirakshi Mundle plays a pivotal character intertwined with the musical world. Mohit will play the stepson of Madirakshi's character in the show. Sairaab is slated to premiere on June 2.

MOHIT JASWANI ON TURNING POSITIVE ON-SCREEN AFTER PLAYING A BADDIE

For Mohit, the new role marks a departure from his recent negative image on screen.
"This time, I'm playing a positive role. After being the bad boy on screen for so long, it feels refreshing to step into the shoes of a good one. Television stories are unpredictable, and you never know where the plot will take you, so I'm excited to see what the story demands ahead. I've given this character my all, and I'm hoping to receive the same love and appreciation from all of you in this show as well. Here's to new beginnings, new challenges, and hopefully, another role that stays with you," he concluded.
