Sehban Azim Talks About His Mother On Mother's Day: She Knew I Needed Motivation More Than Strict Discipline

Sehban Azim known for his versatile roles and charming screen presence. He gained popularity with shows like Dill Mill Gayye, Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hai, and Tujhse Hai Raabta, gets candid about his mother Dr. Nigar Azim.

He feels people assume mother's have favorites, but his mom proved otherwise. He says, "We often joke that she loves the eldest because they're the firstborn, and then she loves the youngest because they're the baby of the family - and the ones in between are just... there. Honestly, it's just a running joke we use to tease her."

He continued, "The truth is, she always understood that every person is different and that you can't compare two people. So she cared for each of her sons differently, based on our personalities and abilities. I was a slow learner, and she was patient with me. She knew I needed motivation more than strict discipline, so she handled me differently. She took a different approach with my elder brother to help him reach his goals too. Each of us was raised differently, but all of us received the same love and affection."

Admitting it - he is nowhere close to being like his mom. He shared how incredible his mom is and he keeps learning, slowly, by watching her.

He shares, "There isn't just one thing I need to learn from my mom. Her multitasking skills are out of this world - I don't think I'll ever be as good as her. She's incredibly sharp when it comes to analyzing situations or people, and she always turns out to be right. Her instincts and intuition amaze me every time. They're so accurate that I can't even imagine how they come to her so strongly, whereas I'm usually confused and lost in most situations."
